Christian Helplines/Prayerlines working together to serve others
New Members of Christian Helplines Association Always Welcome
Are you running a Christian based Helpline or Prayerline in the UK? Do you do this using the telephone, SMS, live web chat or other ways?
If so you would be welcome to join the CHA. It costs just £30/year.
The managers/co-ordinators of the lines meet 3 times a year in different locations to share and network with each other. A strong partnership has developed between memebers as a result that is of mutual benefit.
For more details on how to join contact Jonathan Clark, Chair of CHA: mail@christianhelplines.co.uk
News March 2021
Crossline Coventry merged with Premier Lifeline: the National Christian Helpline in March 2021 after nearly 30 years of ministry as a Christian Helpline. This was on the retirement of John Pither, who was also Chair and co-founder of the Christian Helplines Association. We give thanks for Crossline Coventry and John Pither, their ministry and the legacy left through being an instrumental part in formation of the National Christian Helpline and the CHA.
News December 2020
Crossline Plymouth closed at the end of December 2020 after 46 years of ministry as a Christian Helpline.
Crossline Plymouth was probably the first ever Christian Helpline in the UK. We give thanks for its ministry and its inspiration to others to start similar ministries over the years. Many of the listeners at Crossline Plymouth are continuing to serve as part of the National Christian Helpline under Premier Lifeline.
10 Years of CHA
To mark the 10th Anniversary of the formation of the CHA, John Pither gave a seminar entitled "Celebrating Christian Helplines" at the International Christian Resources Exhibition, Sandown Park, Esher, on Wednesday 14th May 2014.
